6.2 Assignment 2: The implementation of a simplified distributed hash table

The aims of this assignment are:

• to introduce you to the simulation of distributed systems algorithms
• to familiarise you with the concepts behind distributed hash tables

In doing the assignment, you will demonstrate the use of a simulated environment for the verification of the correctness of algorithms, and show how to use a simulator framwework to implement distributed algorithms.
