You should probably purchase a copy of the recommended text,
``Distributed Systems: Concepts and Design'', George Coulouris, Jean
Dollimore and Tim Kindberg, Third Edition, Addison Wesley. Where
chapters from this text are recommended, they are referred to as Ch 1 etc,
Coulouris. I'll email specific questions to be thought about when
reading the papers. As general guidance to reading papers, use Sugih
Jamin's hints.
